2025 TERM 1 Under 8 & Under 10 REGISTRATIONS OPEN

Under 8 (players born in 2018 & 2019)

Under 8’s games are played Saturday mornings between 8am-11am (times vary each week). Under 8’s are 3 on 3 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding. Lakers will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.

Under 8’s Term 1 Competition Information:

• First round: Saturday 8^th February, Last round: Saturday 12^th April.
• 8 weeks of games included (no games on Saturday 8^th March & Saturday 22^nd March due to court availability – NEJL & EJL rounds).
• Skills Sessions: Sunday 23^rd February (10am – 11:30am) & Sunday 30^th March (11:30am – 1pm).
• Cost: $115 + Annual Registration Fee

Under 10 (players born in ­­­2016 & 2017)

Under 10’s games are played Thursday afternoons between 4pm-6pm (times vary each week). Under 8’s are welcome to play in this competition. Under 10’s are 5 on 5 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding. Clubs will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.

Under 10’s Term 1 Competition Information:

• First round: Thursday 13^th February, Last round: Thursday 10^th April.
• 9 weeks of games included.
• Skills sessions: Sunday 23^rd February (10am – 11:30am) & Sunday 30^th March (11:30am – 1pm).
• Cost: $125 + Annual Registration Fee

REGISTERING THROUGH BASKETBALL CONNECT

• If you have previously registered with Newcastle Basketball through GameDay, you will need to “claim” your Basketball Connect account to ensure your annual membership is rolled over (if valid). To do this, please register as a new user in Basketball Connect. As you move through the process, you will be prompted to receive a code via email/SMS to claim your profile. If you do not receive this prompt during the registration process, please ensure you are using the same email address, phone number and address as your GameDay profile – these can be changed in Basketball Connect once your profile is claimed. Failing to claim your profile will result in overpayment of any current annual membership. If you have trouble claiming your profile, please contact  development@newcastlebasketball.com.au for assistance.
• If you have done Future Falcons or Mini Hoops in the last 2 terms, you should already have a Basketball Connect account. Please login to Basketball Connect as an existing user.
• If you are new to basketball, please register as a new user.
